Acer Nitro 5 2021 edition has been launched in India. It is India’s first laptop to be powered by RTX 3060 GPU at a budget price. The laptop was first seen in the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) event of 2021 which was held virtually. Acer has previously launched Acer Aspire 7 laptop in India but this time Acer Nitro 5 will have direct competition with Asus TUF Dash F15 a gaming laptop launched by Asus.

DESIGN
Acer Nitro 5 has got quite a similar design to its predecessor, a plastic chassis design. The laptop is built-in with a full-size RGB backlit keyboard with a 4 zone color customization option. The TouchPad is of normal size but it would be better to use a mouse for gaming. The side bezels are quite thin but the top and bottom bezels are chunky as usual.
The laptop has got a weight of around 2.3Kg which does not perfectly fits in the category of ultra-portable laptops but on the other hand, its weight is comparatively lower than usual gaming laptops. Acer Nitro 5 2021 is available in only one color variant option of Obsidian Black on Amazon.

The laptop comes with a 72% NTSC to display clear, vivid, and immersive visuals with rich and vibrant colors. Due to 7.02mm thin side-bezels, the laptop has got about 80% of Active screen.
The laptop supports upto 300 nits of brightness which is fairly enough to have good outdoor visibility. Due to the active 144Hz supported screen, the gaming becomes smooth and blur-free without any frame drops and tears.

Acer Nitro 5 is the first laptop in India to be powered by a 6GB DDR6 Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and 3-core tensors.
The in-built Nvidia Ampere Architecture provides a phenomenal ray-tracing by stimulating the exact light behaviour which gives the most realistic feel even with visually intense games. Acer has given an inbuilt software ‘NitroSense’ to monitor the real-time fan performance along with thermals and lightings.
