The next Jio phone could be a 5G mobile phone that runs on custom Android. Google and Jio have teamed up to create a superlight version of Android. It may be called JioOS Go.

The JioPhone 5G smartphone is tipped to come with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor. It will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
It could also sport a dual-camera setup and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. There are also rumors that the handset may have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

As for its specifications, the JioPhone 5G is expected to come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The device is expected to come with a 32GB internal memory and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
According to a recent report from Android Central, the JioPhone 5G should cost between Rs. 9,000 to Rs 12,000. Moreover, the company is said to be offering financing options for the users.
There is still no official information about the launch date of the JioPhone 5G. The new network will be available in major cities in India, which means that the smartphone will be available in the country soon.
It will be a direct competitor to phones like the Realme and Redmi, though it will probably be a little bit more expensive than its rivals.

Reliance Jio’s first 5G smartphone is expected to include a 13-megapixel main rear camera, a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
It is rumored to feature a 5,000-mAh battery and support fast charging through 18W. Apart from these features, the smartphone is also expected to have a front-mounted fingerprint sensor.
