Microsoft to offer Free Online Courses, 250 million people will be Benefited

Microsoft, a well-known Multinational Company has launched professional courses that will benefit around 25 million peoples worldwide. After the lockdown, many of the people have lost their jobs and now almost all major companies are moving towards digitalization. The scenario of digitalization is completely different from what it is used to be.

The skill building course was though launched previous year in June. The tech giant claims that close to 30 million people were helped to develop and enhance their professional skill including 3 million people from India.

Which type of Courses are offered by Microsoft?

As per the Brad Smith who is President at Microsoft, the Pandemic has hit the professionals the most and now they need to enhance their skills to tackle out daily challenges in this digitalized world. The course mostly deals with technology jobs profile that will help job seekers and students too.

The course will remain free until the end of 2021 and the interested users can opt in via Linkedin learning. Additionally, the students and job professional will also get personalized guidance from the team. Beside boosting the skills, Microsoft is also planning to introduce Short Video Profile where user can share their expertise and interest.

Microsoft is also going to hire 50,000 job seekers via Linkedin

The American Tech-giant has also planned to hire around 50,000 job professionals via Linkedin. Microsoft is looking to hire those who mostly belongs to the technology field. The hiring will be completed within 3 years and people will also be allowed to work from home. The hiring will firstly be done in the US followed by the other countries too.
