Redmi K40 Pro is the successor of the Redmi K30 series that was launched in 2020. Previously, in the Redmi K series there were only Pro variants but this year Redmi has also added the Pro+ in the smartphone variant hence increasing the K40 series lineups to three.
Redmi K40 series will be launched in India too with either the name of Mi 11X or Poco F3 and per the latest news coming out the phone has been registered in the Indian IMEI database with the model number M2012K11AI. Redmi K40 Pro smartphone packs with a decent Snapdragon 888 processor with around 360Hz touch sampling rates.

Redmi K40 Pro 5G was launched on the 25th of February in China. The phone pre-booking was started from that day onwards but the phone has been officially kept on sale in China from 4 March. Xiaomi has made it all clear to launch Redmi K40 series smartphones globally including India with a different brand name, most probably be the Poco F3 series or Mi 11X series.

Redmi K40 Pro 5G comes with IP53 rated water and dust resistant technology. The phone has got a glass body with a smooth matte finish and the side-frames made of Aluminium. The phone’s in-hand feel is quite good and can be held in an average hand with great grip.
