1. Indian Government new rules framed for Social media and OTT Platforms
In a recent press conference, India Electronics & IT minister Ravishankar Prasad has announced that the Indian government is going to frame new rules for the active social media and OTT platforms in India. We will not go deep about it but as per the new rule, social media and OTT platforms must remove the objectionable content within 24 hours of complaint.
According to recent reports, India has around 53 crores of Whatsapp, 44.8 Youtube, 41 crores of Facebook, 21 Instagrams, and 1.75 crores of Twitter users respectively.
2. Reliance is preparing to bring a new LYF smartphone, as it got listed on BIS.
LYF is a Reliance-owned smartphone company that usually manufactured lower-end smartphones. The new LYF smartphone is listed on the BIS website and going to launch soon in India.
According to experts, the phone may support a 5G network as the Jio has successfully tested the 5G network in India and soon will launch it after the government approval. We have no idea about the pricing of the smartphone but most probably it could be priced under Rs 10k.
3. Samsung Galaxy M12 is all set to launch in March in India
After the recent launch of Galaxy M12 in Vietnam, Samsung is planning to launch it in India too. The exact date is yet to be revealed but most probably it is set in March. Samsung Galaxy M12 which is going to launch in India will share similar specifications to the Vietnamese version of the Phone.
Galaxy M12 is going to be a budget-oriented smartphone and will be priced below Rs 12k as per the new leaks. The Phone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate along with 6.5 inch TFT display. The phone will have 8nm processor which is going to be more efficient and fast. The phone has a quad-camera setup which is powered by 6000mAh powerful and long-lasting battery.
4. RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15-inch display model launched in China.
In the recent launch event of the Redmi K40 series, the company has also launched RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15-inch laptop models. The new laptop is powered by the Intel i5 8th generation. The laptop is said to have a metal body.
RedmiBook Pro 14-inch laptop comes with a screen to body ratio of 88.2 %. The viewing angles of this laptop is great and brightness is also ideal for outdoor work. The laptop built up with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD storage.
5. Nubia Red Magic 6 series spotted on TENAA, going to be a 5G phones
Nubia Red Magic 6 series has recently been listed on TENAA and officially it is going to launch on March 4. Nubia Red Magic Series will have two smartphones namely Nubia Magic 6 & Nubia Magic 6 Pro. As per the leaked images of the phone, the bezels are going to be quite thin whereas the back body design of the phone closely resembles Nubia Red Magic 5G/5S.
The higher variant of the phone Nubia Red Magic 6Pro is said to have a 144Hz fast refresh rate along with the most decent and powerful Snapdragon 888 processor. The phone is also said to support upto 120W fast-charging support.
