1. Apple to launch its iPad 2021 series soon, what to expect this time
Apple iPad Pro 2020 is expected to get its successor soon. As per the tipped details, Apple is working on iPad Pro 2021 and we will be going to see it in the market very soon. Apple iPad 2020 model was a huge upgrade from its predecessor, with the faster and reliable processor it is currently one of the best processors available.
So the question arises that what we could expect from the iPad 2021 model. As per the leaked render, the iPad 2021 model will have a similar design to that of the iPad 2020 with slight changes in speaker grills. Whereas, the display of the new iPad Pro 2021 is going to have a mini LED setup. Whereas in terms of processor, Apple could go with its newly launched M1 Silicon Chip.
2. Oppo surpassed Huawei to become the biggest smartphone brand in China
Oppo, a well-known sub-brand of BBK electronic has surpassed its rival Huawei to become the largest smartphone brand in China with a total market share of 21%. According to the counterpoint research, Huawei’s market share declined due to the US sanctions and at the same time Oppo’s market share rose to the zenith due to its most efficient 5G model phones.
Vivo another sub-brand of BBK electronics gained the second position in China with a market share of 20%. The list followed by Apple and Xiaomi with a total market share of 16% each.
3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 and 775G, for premium mid-range smartphones
Qualcomm is reportedly testing its new Snapdragon 775 and Snapdragon 775G chipset. It is a 5nm-based processor and will be used to speed up the premium mid-range smartphones as Snapdragon 765 has got a little old now. The processor will support 3200MHz LPDDR5, 2400MHz LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage as well.
As per the leaks, it seems that the processor will have 5G network compatibility. The processor will support 4K video-recording and its connectivity area will have Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2. As per the latest AnTuTu score, the processor will give top-notch competition to Snapdragon 865.
4. Reliance Jio working on the low-cost JioBook, a 4G LTE supported laptop
Reliance Jio, an Internet-telecommunication company has said to be working on its new Reliance JioBook laptop. As per the XDA-developers, the laptop will come in an affordable price range which will be powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC, whereas the operating system will be based on Android.
Reliance Jio has reportedly joined hands with Chinese Bluebank communication technology, which develops software and mobile devices for third-parties. The work for the development of JioBook started far earlier in September 2020 and is expected to continue till the middle half of 2021. JioBook may have two variants option, one model of the laptop will have 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC storage while another laptop model will include 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
5. Moto G10 Power and Moto G30 launch date in India revealed.
Motorola is bringing another range of smartphones to the Indian market, this time with Moto G10 power and Moto G30. The phone’s official launch date is set to be 9th March and will be exclusively available on Flipkart for sale. Moto G30 and Moto G10 Power were earlier launched in the European market.
Both of the smartphones will have a water-drop notch type display. The company also revealed that both of the phones will have a near-stock Android experience. Moto G10 Power will have a 48MP primary camera on the other hand Moto G30 will have a 64MP primary camera. Motorola has earlier launched Moto E7 Power and Moto G 5G in the Indian Market.
