Daniel Suarez won NASCAR Cup Series 2022 at Sonoma!!!

Daniel Suarez was the first Mexican-born driver in a NASCAR Cup Series race. He beat Chris Buescher to take a historic win.

Suarez, a Monterrey 30-year-old, won the 195th career start in a Cup Series career that started in 2017.

He drove his Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet to victory in the Cup Series for the 2-year-old rising team.

Buescher was beaten by Suarez, who took control of the final stage of this hilly road course in Northern California wine county.
