Tiger Woods has requested Greg Norman, the chief executive officer of the Saudi-owned LIV golf series.

Interviewing reporters prior to the beginning the Hero World Challenge event in New Providence, Bahamas.

When asked if there is a possibility that the LIV Golf series and PGA Tour can coexist.

Woods said: "Not at the moment, not under their leaders, and certainly not even with Greg there.

Since the start of the LIV Golf series earlier this year, the game of golf has become divided by many best players on the PGA Tour.

In the spring of this season, LIV Golf has joined in an antitrust suit together with some of its players.

PGA Tour threatened to place permanent bans on players who take part with LIV Golf.

These were his first tournaments since he was severely injured in a crash involving a car near Los Angeles in February 2021.
