Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant was fined $35,000 due to "confronting and directing offensive remarks

After being expelled from a defeat of 109-101 in the game against Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.

What Morant spoke to the official resulted in the official being immediately expelled. 

Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards nodded and smiled when he got ready for shooting free throws.

"Did the player get kicked out for one (technical violation)?" a broadcaster asked.

After the incident, Morant continued to speak to the official. He then went through the court to bid goodbye to Edwards.

The Grizzlies were awestruck at the expulsion. He smiled, laughed , and was clapping on his way out.

Following the match, Morant made it clear that he felt that the decision to eject him wasn't justified.
