It seems like New York Jets quarterback Mike White has the backing of his teammates ahead of his second game of the season.

On Saturday, many Jets players donned White in their T-shirts, as they were preparing to travel to Minnesota in the USA.

The Jets made White the starting quarterback this week after they benched the quarterback Zach Wilson.

White immediately made an impression in his debut and smashed in the Chicago Bears for 315 yards.

White's performance brought him cheers by the fans and a standing ovation of his fellow players.

He was a very smooth operation," running back Ty Johnson said. "He was performing Mike White things.

"Helluva match, man!" player Duane Brown declared. "He controlled the offense very well.

He made timely decisions, and performed some big plays in crucial times. Great poise. Fantastic day for him."
