HP has launched its new HP Pavilion 14 2021 edition laptop, powered by Intel i5 11th Gen processor this laptop can perform several tasks of Video-editing, Coding, etc with great perfection and accuracy. It has a price tag of INR 62,990 and is available for sale on HP’s official website and Amazon.We have also reviewed Acer Aspire7.HP Pavilion 14 series which was recently launched in India have two laptop models Pavilion 14 DV0054TV and Pavilion 14 DV0053TV respectively. Both these laptop shares same specifications but differences in their model number is due to different color variations as HP Pavilion 14 DV0054TV available in silver color whereas HP Pavilion 14 DV0054TV have a ceramic white color.
Hp Pavilion 14 series laptop uses aluminum as its exterior chassis material whereas the bottom part of the body is made up of hard plastics. It weighs only about 1.45Kgs, making it ultra-portable and extra convenient for travelers, bloggers, businessmen, and students. The backlit keyboard is present but the numeric pad is absent due to its compact design. HP claims that HP Pavilion 14 2021 edition has a 14% larger TouchPad than its previous HP laptops.
The laptop has a 14″ FHD IPS display which comes with a support of 45% NTSC and 250 nits of brightness. The display specifications are not ideal for outdoor usage due to the low brightness level. The display is made up of anti-glare coatings which are seen in most laptops nowadays. Also, the laptop has 178º of wide viewing angles which overall provides a good user experience.
HP laptop but does not have Dedicated Graphics Card support, instead of that Intel had featured this laptop with Iris Xe Integrated Graphic Card which is comparably fast and smooth. We can play GTA5 at 40fps, PUBG at 40fps, and Fortnite at 50fps but this is a not-gaming oriented laptop. The laptop is integrated with Intel i5 11th Gen processor. This 10nm processor has 4 cores and 8 threads that provide a base speed of 2.4 GHz and a boost speed of 4.2 GHz. The TDP is 12W which considerably lower and consumes less heat. Talking about the storage, Pavilion 14 laptop has 512 GB SSD storage with 16GB of RAM that can be further increased upto 32GB. The SSD storage and DDR4 RAM boost the laptop performance by decreasing boot up and application opening time. Also, for normal usage of MS Office, AutoCAD, coding, etc. the laptop has no lag seen.
HP Pavilion 14 2021 series comprises some decent and latest connectivity settings. Pavilion 14 has Wi-Fi 6 support that is said to be 3 times faster than the previous Wi-Fi 5. Also, the latest Bluetooth V5.0 can be seen on this laptop which comes with the support of Gigabit File Transfer support too to transfer big files in just a few seconds. The fingerprint unlock support can also be seen for fast, safe, and securely unlock of the laptop.
The laptop has nearly all major ports and peripherals present which is most useful in any laptop. There are two USB Type-A ports in the laptop that provide data transfer rates of 5GB /sec. The USB Type-C port is also present which transfers data at the rate of 10GB/sec. The HDMI 2.0 is also present which can be used for connecting external displays to the laptop.
HP Pavilion 14 series has 3 cells comprised of 41Wh battery that can provide the battery backup of upto 6-8 hours in normal usage. Also, the laptop comes along with a 65W fast-charger that can charge 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes. With the help of HP quick box, users can connect their laptops with a smartphone and transfer data between them.
HP has given a 720P camera with dual microphone support which is average but can be used for video-conferencing and online classes. The speakers are from Bang & Olufsen side which has a good bass quality with an average sound bombastic noise.
