The next iPhone SE could debut as early as December 2020, according to a report by DigiTimes. It will have a 4.7-inch high-end screen, the same as the iPhone 8 and a new processor. 

The company is reportedly recruiting 200,000 new employees for its Shenzhen factory. The report also suggests that a rumored upcoming third-generation model will be called the iPhone SE Plus.

The iPhone SE is Apple’s most affordable device. It’s predicted to launch in the first half of 2022, with the same screen size as the current model. 

It is expected to have an A15 processor, but will look more like the iPhone XR. The rumored design is similar to the iPhone SE, but with a larger screen. The 2022 version is based on the iPhone XR.

The rumor has also been reported by Ming-Chi Kuo. While the analyst hasn’t gotten specifics about the future product, he has revealed some of the expectations for the next iPhone SE. 

Though this new iPhone will have a larger display than the current model, it will still retain the Home button and TouchID. The new device will likely feature 5G and a dual-lens camera.

An iPhone SE 5G will be available for the first time for the iPhone SE. The new phone will be smaller than the current model and could feature a 6 inch screen.
