The ZenFone series is one of the most sought Flagship smartphone series from Asus and this year we will be introduced to the Asus Zenfone 8 series. The Zenfone 8 series is said to have at least three smartphone lineups at least with the topmost variant featuring Snapdragon 888 processor. There is also the Mini variant included in this Zenfone 8 series whose specifications have recently been spotted on Geekbench.
The smartphone giant has put up a countdown timer on their official website handle teasing the official launch of the smartphone to be on 12th May. Recently, the teaser of the Zenfone 8 series smartphones was also out which clearly indicates that it is going to be a great performance oriented-smartphone from the Asus. The company has previously launched Asus ROG Phone 5 packs with same Snapdragon 888 processor.
The smartphone lineups in the series depict the same design as its predecessor with the same Flip-camera module. The Flip-camera has got its benefit too as it provides a more active screen ratio by reducing the screen bezels and chin. There is also no front camera in the upcoming Zenfone 8 series hence providing the immersive display with punchy colors and vivid visuals.
What are the Tipped Features of the Asus Zenfone 8 series?
As we know that Asus Zenfone 8 series comprises three smartphone lineups namely Zenfone 8, Zenfone 8 Pro, and Zenfone 8 Mini. In the tipped poster Asus has clearly mentioned that its phone will be packed with great specifications under the compact size, possibly seems that Asus is talking about Zenfone 8 Mini. The Zenfone 8 Mini has recently been spotted on Geekbench revealing almost all the major key specs of the phone.
As per the leaks, the Mini will be powered by a decent and powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. In addition to that, the display of the smartphone will most probably measure around 5.9-inch with FHD+ resolution featuring a 120Hz refresh rate too. If we talk about the camera specifications then the Zenfone 8 Mini will have a 64MP Primary camera following the flip-camera module just like its predecessor.
If we talk about the Zenfone 8 and 8 Pro, they will also have good performance specs and will feature the same Snapdragon 888 SoC. Also, the 8 and 8 Pro will have a larger display and battery configuration in comparison to the Zenfone 8 Mini. The other smartphone specification including the camera, connectivity, and ports are going to be almost the same. If Asus is able to keep the price under the limit then the smartphone can be one of the greatest choices for buyers that will have compact yet powerful specifications.
In the officially tipped image, Asus has only mentioned three countries in the launch event which includes New York, Berlin, Taipei. We are not pretty much sure about the availability of the Zenfone 8 series smartphone in the other countries neither Asus has confirmed anything yet. We must have to wait till 12th May to finally get the information about the Zenfone 8 series availability in the other countries.
