1. Xiaomi to hold a launch event on 29th March, likely to announce Mi 11 Ultra and Lite.

Xiaomi is all set to organize a launch event on 29th March globally. The tech giant is expected to launch its Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Lite smartphones alongside the Mi 6 Band and a Notebook. Xiaomi has earlier launched Mi 11 series in Europe and China which was said to be the first smartphone in China to be on the latest Snapdragon 888 processor. Mi 11 Ultra too is said to be inbuilt with Snapdragon 888 processor whereas the Lite version of Mi 11 is said to be on Snapdragon 732G processor.

Mi 11 Ultra camera will include the recently launched Samsung’s 50MP ISOCELL GN2 sensor with a 48MP ultrawide and 48MP telephoto camera. Both the phones will run on the latest MIUI 12.5 operating system which is based on Android 11.

2. Acer database was attacked by ransomware, attackers asked $50 million as a compensation

Acer, a global laptop manufacturing company was attacked by REvil gang through ransomware. The gang demanded about $50 million as a bribe in the form of cryptocurrencies. Acer has been ranked fifth largest computer manufacturer by Gartner which holds 6% of the total market shares. Acer Aspire 7 and Acer Nitro 5 are the most successful laptops in India.

Most probably they hacked the Acer server by exploiting the susceptibility of Microsoft Exchange. The laptop tech-giant is being asked to pay the amount before 28th March and also they will offer upto 20% discount if they will pay before Wednesday.

3. OnePlus Nord 2 images tipped, confirm to have a punch-hole type display

OnePlus Nord seems to be on the way to launch as the latest image of the phone with the key specifications tipped. The phone is said to have a punch-hole camera that will operate on MediaTek Dimensity 1200. The 5G processor is said to be battery efficient and also provides a wide range of bandwidth support.

As per the latest leaks, the phone is said to come with a base price of around Rs 24,999. Besides the processor, Nord 2 will also bring the enhanced camera, display, and battery with the maximum storage support of 12GB + 256GB. The display is said to have a Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate.

4. Realme GT is on the way to India, the latest IMEI registration of the phone confirms it

Realme GT 5G, which was earlier launched in China and received a good user response seems to be all set to get launched in India. The phone appeared on the India IMEI database with the model number RMX2202. Realme most probably will not change any of the specifications of the phone and is hoped to launch in India with the same Snapdragon 888 processor.

Realme GT other specifications include its FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on the latest Android 11 which supports a maximum of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has also got a triple rear-camera featuring a 64MP primary camera.

5. Vivo Y72 5G with Dimensity 700 SoC launched in Thailand

Vivo Y72 a 5G smartphone operating on MediaTek Dimensity 700 has been launched in China. The phone has got a water-drop notch that runs on FunTouch OS 11.1, an Android 11 based operating system. The phone comes with the Game-mode to increase the gaming performance and also to block notifications and calls during gaming.

Vivo Y72 5G will be available for pre-booking from 23 march to 30 March with two color options of Graphite Black and Dream Glow. The phone will have a 6.5″ FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. In terms of sensors and connectivities, the phone has got a majority of it.
