MediaTek Dimensity 8000 to Launch Soon- Key Specs Revealed!!!

Rumors have been floating around that the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 will be coming soon to smartphones. The chip is expected to support Full HD+ displays with a refresh rate of up to 168 Hz. 

It will also support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also speculation that it will support 75W fast charging. It will be interesting to see how the chip compares to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835.

The chip is expected to be four times faster than the rival chip from Qualcomm. The latest version of the chipset, called the Dimensity 8000, is based on the TSMC’s 5nm process. It will have four Cortex-A55 and four Cortex-A78 cores and a Mali G510 MC6 GPU.

The Dimensity 800U is expected to launch soon. Its four-core design features quad-core Cortex-A78 CPUs and four Cortex-A55 CPUs. 

It has a Mali-G510 MC6 GPU. It has been ranked as one of the fastest mid-range chipset in an AnTuTu benchmark, beating out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, and is likely to offer a 2.75GHz clock speed.

The Dimensity 800U supports sub-6GHz SA networks. It has two-core Cortex-A55 CPUs and a Mali-G77 GPU. The chip achieved remarkable points in an ARMv7 test.
